Established in the UK in 2011, Good Things Foundation recently launched in Australia to ensure everyone benefits from digital inclusion, particularly older Australians. Good Things Foundation is a registered Australian charity that supports digitally and socially excluded people to improve their lives and is the perfect union of technology and community support. The organisation offers online training, networking events and a range of important initiatives to improve equality.

With the support of the Australian Federal Government and anew National Director as well as an exceptional UK based team and Board, Good Things Foundation is entering an exciting time. As part of this growth trajectory, the organisation is looking for an exceptional Head of Development who will be critical to the organisation’s success.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and negotiating new opportunities, relationships and partnerships as well as developing and delivering projects. In addition, given the age and stage of evolution of the organisation, you will be committed to contributing to organisational leadership, strategy, operations and culture.

You will have a genuine commitment to improving the lives of socially excluded people and a passion for technology. You will be a clear and confident communicator with well-honed relationship management and influencing skills, able to successfully build partner relationships and liaise with a complex range of stakeholders at all levels, including government and private enterprise. You will have proven success in working in complex and autonomous operating environments and leading the implementation of new projects You willbe a proactive problem solver and a successful project manager and team leader. You will be tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline. Demonstrated knowledge of or experience in the social sector would be beneficial.

This role is full-time, located in Pyrmont, Sydney and will require interstate and international travel.
